- Excellent. I suddenly felt scared. When something really shocking happened, I even screamed in the theater! Despite the film’s potential for terror, what’s more unexpected is its sense of gripping narrative. I never thought I’d cry while watching a horror movie, but this one is filled with so much beauty, poetry, and truth. It also has many humorous moments. The well-developed witty banter and character development had me laughing out loud. McGuire created a surprising number of layers in one hour and thirty-six minutes.
